Maria Teresa Yacht
Maria Teresa was born in 1962 as a tugboat; it was called Capo Caccia and Tenace Due and worked hard for over thirty years with the strength of the hull and thank to a robust powerful engine system. An example of its strength? The fact that Cantieri Navali di Sestri had only to retrain its structure, with the support of modern technologies, but without modifying any tract of its shape and the efficiency of its initial design.
Its career engaged it firstly with Compagnia Rimorchiatori Riuniti di Genova, then with a Monegasque company for the sea works of Monte Carlo harbour extension. Still perfectly functioning and able to face the sea, it went to the shipyard to be dismantled, but the happy meeting with a ship-owner who fell in love with it let Maria Teresa come back to the sea.
Its recovery, started in 2007, gave new life to its 24 meters, provided with a great power until 14 knots, with over 1800 horsepower engine room.
This work, given to an expert and passionate architect, Mr. Matteo Picchio, respected the shipment structure and provided Maria Teresa with all useful technologies, making it the ideal setting for pleasure boating, thank to stabilization solutions lowering its centre of mass, further improving its distribution of weight and structure.
